Why flooring goes wrong.
Floors are the biggest surface in the house, so every shortcut in them shows. We check the subfloor for flat and for moisture before anything is laid, rack the boards so the seams and colour variation look random instead of repeating, and finish the edges, thresholds and stair transitions so the room reads as one piece.

The questions we get asked most on this kind of job.
Do you refinish existing hardwood?
Yes — sanding and refinishing existing floors is often far better value than replacing them, as long as there is enough wear layer left to sand. We will check the boards and tell you which way makes sense.
How much extra material should I order?
Plan on about 10% over the measured square footage for cuts and waste, and more for diagonal or herringbone layouts. We confirm the exact number when we measure so you are not left short mid-job or paying for two extra boxes.
Do I need to move the furniture?
We handle it as part of the job. Just clear out anything fragile or personal and we will take care of the rest.
